ARBA CH "Jespersen's Power of Love!"

(retired)

(Xander of the Swift Cotton x Hallo-Roslee-Belle v.d. Klusmatt )

This is one spirited soul who loves to be in the center of everything.   She is eager for attention, extremely confident, and so much fun to be around.  Her conformation is excellent and with her  self-assured attitude, she showed really well.  (Note: Emma completed her championship with ARBA quickly). Emma is now a certified therapy dog and works at a nursing home approximately every three weeks.

"Jespersen's Alice of Wonderland"

(retired) (gone to forever home)

(Xander of the Swift Cotton x Xialyne of the Swift Cotton)

"Alice" has the same father as "Emma" (above), but a different mother.  Both are imported from Denmark.  Alice is a little more of a tomboy, but is every bit as nice conformationally.   Alice is very playful and easy to train.   Even though the color on her ears has now faded, she still passes color on to some of her pups where it will fade too.

Paloma du Domaine de la Rouviere

(retired)

(CH Louxor du Domaine de la Rouviere x Grenadine)

Paloma is an excellent representative of the Coton Standard and has given me gorgeous puppies.   She is a great cuddler but also a scamp.  She can usually be found playing hide-and-seek under the couch pillows.  She was even chosen to be in "Dog World Magazine" posing for a grooming article!

"Wonderland's Singular Sensation!"

(happy in new home)

(CH Jespersen's Power of Love x Theodore du Domaine de la Rouviere)

Sylvie is so much fun!  She is in charge of which dog gets to play with which toy and she wants to be in on it all.  A forever puppy.  Sylvie completed her requirements for ARBA CHAMPION by winning a RESERVE BEST IN SHOW!  She earned her IABCA Jr. National Championship by winning three of four shows with competition!  She finished her Canine Rarities championship with a BEST IN SHOW!

Yea!

Canine Rarities Best in Show

"Wonderland's Wonders Never Cease"

(CH Shameless du Domaine de Luniray x CH Jespersen's Power of Love)

This is "Marvel".   She is a little imp.  She enjoys being outside and getting as dirty as possible.  She digs for moles and chases butterflies.  We tried our first show and this little heathen froze!  The ring may not be the place to look for Marvel.

"Uriel du Domaine de la Rouviere"

Leah is a young lady from France.  She was bred by Frederique Haberbusch as was Theo and Paloma.  She has become the first of three cotons to be residents of a great couple in Birmingham.  Leah will have one more litter and is otherwise performing pet therapy on her new mom as well as at the nursing home.

This is Clementine socializing a pup
(carefully monitored, of course).

Clementine was a rescue and was obtained in great part because I feel it important that these dogs are exposed to other dogs that look different from them.  I think it has helped alot.

Dogs and kids in Wonderland.  Here is a family portrait of some of my dogs.  It isn't easy to keep them all in one place!  Cotons are great for children, as long as the puppy or dog is trained to understand that it is not in charge.  On the other hand, children must also learn to give the dog its space when needed, and to always be gentle and kind.  If you have purchased a Coton puppy for your young child, please keep in touch with your breeder and don't hesitate to ask as many questions as occur to you.  You are setting the stage for many years to come.
