My name is Phyllis Blaha. I was a teacher of emotionally disturbed children for over 25 years. I am now retired and live on a small farm in the mountains of NE Alabama, an hour south of Huntsville. When not engaged in my many home improvement projects or gardening, I can spend a large part of my day with the Coton de Tulear dogs and Puppies and provide the care and attention they deserve.

I have been an Coton de Tulear Breeder for over 13 years. I enjoy the companionship of the Coton s de Tulear, their unique personalities, the challenge of training and of exhibiting at dog shows. I started out breeding and showing Springer Spaniels. I didn't really enjoy (AKC) showing at the beginning, and ultimately decided that the breed needed more work than I was prepared for. I did, however, feel that I would be willing to devote myself to a breed that was in a better state and that a rare breed would be the way to go. The result was that I purchased my first Coton de Tulear in 1993. Since then I have found myself completely enamored of these little dogs and would like to share my reasons with you.
